Quality is our priority. All of JCB Laboratories, LLC's products are prepared in a state-of-the-art clean room environment. JCB's clean room far exceeds regulatory government requirements for the preparation of sterile products.
The clean room is maintained by controlling the amount of particulate matter inside. This is accomplished by using specialized building materials and advanced mechanical features. The clean room is supplied with air from a dedicated and isolated air conditioning system that is fed into the ceiling of the room and then forced through High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters into the production rooms. The high volume of air forced through the HEPA filters allows for more than 200 exchanges of air per hour, which quickly eliminates airborne particulate matter. As a result, JCB's customers are assured that their sterile products are prepared in a meticulously clean environment that stresses quality control and quality assurance.
While we are proud of our extreme measures to ensure sterile quality, JCB also recognizes that walls and filters alone do not create a quality sterile product. Strict aseptic technique and processes are key factors in preparing sterile products. Additionally, JCB pharmacists have more than 40 years of combined practical sterile products experience and have taught sterile products techniques for one of the largest compounding education centers in the world.
Final product samples are sent to a third-party analytical testing laboratory for verification that the samples are fungus and endotoxin free, completely sterile and that the concentration of active ingredients is within the required limits. No product is released for distribution until written confirmation of these tests has been received.
